What is Bodyknowledge YOGA?
Objective: Standardized yoga practices that incorporate ancient philosophies with modern concepts creating a contemporary format that will meet the needs of all aspiring yogis.
Classes will be structured around our goal to Educate, Evolve and Enlighten our clients.
Theme Classes: Monthly practices will be based and outlined around a theme (such as: Peace, Stillness, Body Cleansing etc.) Music, pose sequencing and transitional language will mirror the monthly theme. Class outlines will include topics about Mythological Stories, Traditional Eastern Ceremonies, Anatomy, Physical Fitness, Current Events and Personal Experiences. Instructors will have the opportunity to explore and expand on these topics, in-cooperating their own creative style and personality to their classes.
Pose of the Month: Each month a theme related asana will be highlighted. An in-depth pose breakdown will be provided including the asanas intention, aim and benefits. Modifications, contradictions and precautions will also be addressed.
Challenge Pose Opportunity: Each month a challenge pose or pose progression will be introduced. This will be optional for yogis and will be introduced along with an alternative pose in order not to break flow if a member chooses not to participate.
Newsletter: Yogis will have the opportunity to sign up for our newsletter “Off the Mat” and stay connected throughout the month. Monthly themes, poses and challenge poses will be featured. Class sequencing and music will also be posted.
Future Marketing Opportunities: Bodyknowledge will provide each licensed club with our collectable clothing line “Wisdomwear”. Bodyknowledge will release a new edition each month in conjunction with the theme.
